Eye Tests

We bulk bill all eye examinations for our patients, unless they have been to another Optometrist within the past 2 years. With two fulltime Optometrists, we can accommodate most patients on short notice if the need arises.

We have modern equipment including digital Fundus photography and computerised Visual Fields assessment.

These are important in our role of early detection of Diabetic Retinopathy and Glaucoma.
Alice Forysth also specialises in Children’s Development Optometry. Her experience allows her to assist children who have specific visual problems which inhibit their ability to learn and perform to their best in the classroom.

This is also known as Behavioural Optometry and requires special qualifications in order to determine the correct course of treatment, which may involve the use of spectacles and specially designed eye exercises.
